Death, you are a poem, a song in the night,
A whisper of peace when the soul takes its flight.
In the quiet of breaths, your presence is near,
A message long lost, but I hold it so dear.
Between day and night, a calm we will find,
Where light seeks the dark, and peace fills the mind.
When the body is gone, and the soul is set free,
You are the horizon, where I long to be.
You’ve made me a promise, in whispers so deep,
I’ll meet you there, where the silence will keep.
