Penned By Narayan-Chandra Rauf
Sometimes a dream stops by momentarily
With one wish
May be I you and the bud
Are amongst the innocence of snow-capped mountains
For the good time to spend
Sometimes a dream stops by momentarily
With a wish
May be we lay together in close embrace
For an intimacy beyond bend
Sometimes a dream stops by momentarily
With a wish
May be I gaze at your deep eyes
For poetry without end
Sometimes a dream stops by momentarily
With a wish
May be to take him to a "thiruvizha"
For toys beyond spend
Sometimes a dream stops by momentarily
With a wish
May be my breath brushes your
eager lips
For dousing feelings wet
Sometimes a dream stops by momentarily
With a wish
May be I touch him with a lullaby
on my lips
For putting him to bed
Sometimes a dream stops by momentarily
With a wish
May be to wipe off the lines of the palms
For living together with her
Sometimes a dream stops by momentarily
With a wish
May be I whisper in your ears
Bonolata Sen
You are as beautiful as her
Sometimes a dream stops by momentarily
With a wish
May be to pull out each candle on the cake
So you be as young as ever
Note: Bonolata Sen is a famous poem by famous bengali poet jeebananda dash
