Penned BY B D Narayankar
When I am in your city
the pleasant air
scrapes me,
signals your arrivals
A bright day
beyond the blueish horizon ...
sinks,
signals your departure
What sort of a city
my heart has taken me to
I know not -
The day here, without you
neither breaks,
nor the night wanes!
I haven't yet sown
the new lease of life
you had given me,
for what use would it be
without you -
Without you,
beyond you
there is all but
dank darkness,
dank hollowness,
My Love!
