Poem: The Eternal Enchantress

The Eternal Enchantress

Poem By B D Narayankar

Every night you knock at my heart like the dripping clouds
I try my bit to seal its walls
So that you are not able to peep inside

But even so
Your "MOONISH" face
Often plunders the darkness
And you succeed in stealing my heart
Like the sun steals water for clouds
To cool off the boiling earth

It is no surprise
You are the eternal enchantress
You are my MOON (Beloved)
