Waiting For Rain Gods, Waiting For Your Return

Penned By Narayan-Chandra Rauf

I try touching you
as you are nearby
but I can't
you are like the sky
moving away,
feeling coy, shy

Will I see you as I am melting
in the heat of scorching dream
Like a ice droplet on a leaf
we’re roaming here and there
getting scattered in a stream

Pain in love is more poisonous than life
I am losing soul on the blueish knife,
burying myself, am with anxious strife

I am waiting for the month of
rain gods to pour
where I will
drench my soul
in your presence
as never before!
